North-89 was founded in 2016 with the objective to bring functionality to sneakers. Building seasonally driven collections, using water-resistant or breathable materials, while drawing inspiration from the Scandinavian weather conditions.

We want to give everyone access to high-quality footwear that is functional. To make this possible we have taken the direct-to-consumer approach, skipping middle men and retailers.

The result is high-quality footwear with the same quality, comfort and style as the high-street brands, but at a fair price.
